Here on the west coast the early World Cup games begin at 7am. As a result, you might find yourself touring some of the city’s fine watering holes before work, drinking bad coffee, and making new friends.
(Yes, true, they do have tvs showing the early games at the gym. And there are guys wearing headbands there too.)

oh no! i like that color correction! there’s something about this sort of sports event and the fugue state that some people enter around them, that totally works with that yellow-ey martian glow. no really i’m serious!

Good question! Down to Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Uruguay… I have Uruguay in the office pool (random draw from a hat), so there’s a little loyalty there. Just a little though
